[0:00] I'm going to pray for Angus Alec. Angus Alec prays with me in the vestry or in behind there every Sunday morning and Sunday evening. So let me pray for Angus Alec now as he prepares to come up.

[0:17] Our Heavenly Father we thank you once more for Jesus, the one who was pierced for our transgressions, the one whom we are called to remember, the one who has promised that he is with us for two or three gatherings in his name.

[0:34] And Lord as we do so now we pray that we would be aware of the presence of Christ. And we pray for Angus Alec especially, we thank you for him and for the encouragement that he is, the brightness of his witness and eyeness.

[0:49] And we ask Lord now that as he shares something of your work in his life over the years, that you would equip him, that you would help him, that you would put words in his mouth and that Christ would be lifted up and glorified in what he says as well as in all that he does, that we see from week to week.

[1:11] So be near to him we pray and help him and speak to us through him we ask in Jesus name. Amen. And there's a glass of water for you.

[1:33] Malcolm was telling me that he heard your testimony, his wife heard your testimony on the boat before, on the minch, and it took from Harris to the mainland, and that was in the days when it was the two and a half hour crossing.

[1:50] So we're looking forward to this. That's fine. That's fine, you know I do supper, I try to lock it. That's fine. That's fine. Well, it's a great privilege for me to be, standing here today, to honour my Lord.

[2:18] And I'm not going to keep you as long. Thank you. I am amazed to see so many young people before me here tonight.

[2:48] And first of all, I'm going to start off by my testimony by reading Psalm 40.

[3:04] Psalm 40 I waited for the Lord my God and patiently did bear at length to me I did incline my voice and cry to hear He took me from a fearful pit and from the night I declared on a rock He set my feet establishing my way.

[3:36] Wonderful. I could say Amen. That's my testimony but I know this word from the Lord to my heart tonight here and it's for the young folk of all this year Remember thy creator in the days of thy youth and as I say I'm going to start my testimony I am going to speak about I can say with boldness two young lives we

[4:47] I know and I were privileged to be given as gifts from the Lord I go on a boy for a short time they were lovely just as the young people before the sea of tonight precious to the Lord Jesus Christ and I'm going to tell you something about them their names were Sheena and Jeanette and Sheena was a lovely girl blowing up and in her very tender years she was very healthy there was nothing no illness nothing to be seen but as she grew over time for school going to school we as kids saw that something was wrong and it was something that progressed and we couldn't diagnose what it was locally and she was eventually sent to Edinburgh to sick children's hospital there and she was diagnosed with an illness a rare illness of the brain which progressed and as she went to school it was more noticeable her sight was affected and eventually as it progressed it affected many orders but she became very ill and people used to come to her home with us to pray with us

[7:47] Christian Christian people who prayed earnestly for her soul and the time came a couple of months before she passed on she was very ill and people used to come in at night to sit with us even during the night on this night this wonderful glorious night she hadn't she had she had never been told I was unsaved I know I was saved

[8:49] I was saved but she wasn't committed to the Lord I was a poor soul I was stabbling with alcoholism but anyway this night there was Christians men and women I think there was six of them wasn't it I with us in the bedroom she were laid in bed and we're sitting around the bed and I came in and we noticed she was smiling her eyes said I do go on almost she could see from the side of her eye and was horse smiling and my mother

[9:58] I know I asked she now did you see she gave us a vivid picture and her name said to heaven she said she was seeing the angels dressed in white walls around the throne of God round the lamb in the midst of the throne she could hear her singing she told us all everything about heaven and then she said I am going there we thought she was going home that night but it was in the

[11:07] Lord's way and she it was no thoughts no thoughts that you would be taken away that man no she went down for a couple of months and as things progressed this night she was removed to take her hospital in Stornow and that following morning this morning we were called to hospital she had passed passed away by the time we got there and as we were taken in to the room which she laid it wasn't a she had a hand it it wasn't a pleasant place to be but anyway the following day

[12:21] I had to go over there to identify the body and the issue was in the coffin no signs of business no sign of sickness she was just beautiful in the coffin home we took the coffin home the body home and we went and Ina was in some state I tell you she was in bed and the doctor came and went up and prayed

[13:22] Dr. Robin up the bed side and we took I said to Ina you have to come in and see and she went in and there she lay no sign of failure illness or illness and what was it the words that spoke to your heart what was it what were the words that spoke to you it in revelations wasn't it I can't I can't I can't there be no more tears what is it after herôt other 경우

[14:28] I can't believe it. And then what is that? And then what is that?

[14:40] Eh? Oh, yes. Oh, yes. Where is that? That was a woman. No.

[14:52] She had. She was with the Lord. She had gone home to glory. She was in the presence of the Almighty.

[15:04] With the angels whom she had seen dressed in gold. And oh, you would have thought that that was enough to touch a wretch like me.

[15:22] To come there. To come there to me. But no, it was me. And then. And now.

[15:34] This is timeless. Ah. Anyway. That was.

[15:46] She. She. He had a wee boy. And.

[16:00] With boldness. I can say. He was a special way to. Not that we say that. It was. Said by.

[16:12] And. This day. Communion. First. We have communion. We had a wee dog.

[16:24] And we had people in. I had been to church. And. He. Asked if he could take his dog. We dog out to the back.

[16:36] The back. It was a beautiful day. The mouth communion. I had been in church. And. We were sitting out here.

[16:48] And. We were sitting out here. And. We were sitting out here. And we went out to the back. Something he never did.

[17:00] Before. On a 70. That 70. He asked. With people in. He couldn't take it. And of course. For his friends. Others outside. And I went away. Up on the hill.

[17:11] And. Of course. For his friends. Others outside. And I went away. Up on the hill. And. And. Within half a nose.

[17:22] There was someone at the door. Ten years. Yet. Falling into attack. Water. Water. Water. Both. David Cameron. And.

[17:33] So. For. Water. Well. You. You. You. You. You. You. You.

[17:44] You. You. You. You. You. Find out. How? The care. That. To her.

[17:55] 팔. The care. In terms. The idea. To her. The care. Of the patients. You. You. They. The care.

[18:06] The care. And. The care. You.證定. The care. The care. And. From. That.

[18:17] ARDades. The care. Friends. The care. you this. And it explains, you've got to be prepared. Age doesn't mean anything. We've got to come to the Lord in our youth and in our youngest age. What does he say? Come, come, and to me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will do you rest. Come. There's no conditions. Just come. This is for the older ones to come to the Lord. He will take you in, and he will take you to God. No, I was still unconverted. I believe I know

[19:31] I now do not have to the Lord many years ago. I haven't committed to the Lord. And now this Thursday I'm going to come now to my own confession. It was a Thursday of communion.

[19:50] I had gone to church. I had been drinking the night before. I had been doing my utmost to stop it before then. I was going there to the pub. I didn't smile with it. I was getting no satisfaction. And this Thursday of communion. The pubs here used to be closed. The Thursday of communion. Shops. Everything was closed then. There was nothing open. I was going to have go to the church. But what I got done. Men did. And of course we came home from church and I was so upset. I wanted to go to Stoward. But I know it was a hotel. No. I wanted to go to Stoward.

[20:55] I wanted to go to Stoward. The evil one that was within me. And anyway as the day of the day of the day of the day I got into such a state. I didn't know what was going on. I couldn't tell. I didn't know. I didn't know. Eina says to me, I looked at four o'clock and decided, where do you go to church today? And I was angry. And I said, I know. I'm never used to go to church on the evening service on the Thursday and I never will.

[21:49] That was my very words. Announce to me. Oh here beware. Beware. It's a dangerous place for us to be in.

[22:09] How she was she said she was going to church. Oh yes she I I wasn't going I told her I wasn't going she was going to church.

[22:24] So she said she was going to church. And I was getting wilder and wilder and wilder I couldn't understand myself what was wrong with me. I'm on a way to church.

[22:38] wedding at Scott Road got cleared then. And as she walked over the road if I could have stretched my hand the step I was in I could have pulled back the power of evil one.

[23:02] But I couldn't do that. I was driving at the time to the Highland only because school and Ina came up she had told me to have something prepared when she would come home.

[23:23] She came home and I hadn't heard. I was just without going better. And I wasn't getting any better.

[23:37] And Ina was in and out. I couldn't understand it. She looked to the back door. Back. Where was she?

[23:52] She was going up to pray and speak to the Lord to show her what was fine. I was gone as far as I was going to phone another driver or under that he would do the school and find the following home that I was going to London trade to me.

[24:21] I couldn't see anything else but my room. Well then gloriously she went to have this time to me.

[24:36] Oh as brass. And she said to I'm resaliate I know what's wrong with you. You don't. You don't.

[24:49] I do. It is a battle going on for your soul in this home tonight. A battle going on for your soul.

[25:09] And she told me what she intended to do that she had made up her mind that she was going to go forward and sit at the road side table.

[25:23] Oh yes I said to her you're going your own way. No no she said I'm going away for home.

[25:34] and do you know this in the twinkling of an eye in a moment the joy of the Lord enveloped her home.

[25:56] In a moment in the twinkling of an eye I was converted. as she says she was privileged to see it happening as if this change her love has all set free the joy that came to that home still remains.

[26:25] It's everlasting the joy of the Lord. and I would recommend to everyone here tonight and you the young book here all that hearts be touched to save me.

[26:49] Not only did he save me he save hope salvation and more than you do to his second hand we have been left with nothing the Lord have taken away and blessed be the name of the Lord we could save that to save you to you to give him all the truth to make things he has done and to this day be all my life there is a fountain filled with blood drawn from a man who was paid and finished plunge in sleep all sins will be all that it would be through tonight in this place that souls would be touched afresh

[28:06] God is speaking God is talking and that will go on rejoicing us on that road on the sea to sea with gladness and joy in the roads praising the Lord hold together in the oneness of spirit and never ever forget the love and the Christian love that was sure at this time that and it's forever it's everlasting what a day it will be when we meet in that city above he has prepared a place for us and you have come and you can say trust trust in you there's no other way thank you so much

[29:27] Andrew Salick for sharing that and thank you for sharing everything and it is nice or you and tell we had a bass is good and terrible
